Synopsis for the E Pacific within 250 nm of Central America,
Colombia, and within 750 nm of Ecuador
1234 PM PDT Tue Jun 2 2026

.SYNOPSIS...Pulses of moderate to fresh gap winds will occur the
the Papagayo region tonight and Wed night. Long period SW swell
is forecast to enter the southern Galapagos adjacent waters
tonight, then begin to subside Thu afternoon. Looking ahead, an
area of low pressure is forecast to form offshore Central America
and southern Mexico late this week or this weekend.
Environmental conditions appear conducive for some development of
this system thereafter, and a tropical depression could form
early next week while it moves slowly north-northwestward.
